Rivian R1T off-roading in CA and AZ

Was scrolling my Google feed and came across this. Looks like they took some Rivian R1T's out for some light off-roading in CA east of LA and then over to AZ. Has videos posted to Twitter that show off capabilities. Looks interesting.

I was eyeballing that truck for two years and heard about the delays, and hesitated to put my 1K down. Didn't even know about the Bronco until a friend sent me the link during the debut night, and I got lucky and put a reservation in after a couple of hours of watching the video. Now I'm committed and will get my Badlands this year and super excited. The only problem is I'm still thinking about this darn truck. Thinking I will test drive one when they come out. They are eyeballing the Bronco in their forums too!

...this was like a forced kiss from an elderly relative with halitosis and an excess of saliva and sputum.

I hate that weird, cartoon character face. I'd also like to see their support vehicles and, especially, the charging truck.

I love the looks of them and the panoramic roof is awesome. I just don't see an electric vehicle being a viable option off-road YET. Maybe in 5-10 years.

I was leaning that way, but am also intrigued by the Lucid Project Gravity, in part because the tech and lux in the Lucid Air.
