Rekgen Mudflaps on 2026 Heritage

Hello everyone. Checking to see if anyone installed RekGen mudflaps on Heritage bumpers which are the compatible steel. I’m checking for my bro who just purchased his like 3 weeks ago. He was looking at the install video and they referenced a flap fin on the rear bumper though the video is old but I told him let’s see what does the package comes with. Anyone? Thanks.

Might be specific to RekGen but the stock Bronco plastic bumper (Base, OBX, Wildtrak) comes with a flap fin from Ford. A steel bumper is different, which is what the Heritage comes with. We use the outer plastic bumper cap (needs four small holes) to mount ours on steel bumpers versus the plastic bumper Broncos which don’t require any holes- ours use the same holes that the Ford flap fin uses. Back to the steel bumper models, the outer plastic caps are replaceable from Ford and only cost ~$40. Pics of how ours mount with the plastic and steel bumper models. The four diagonal holes are steel bumper and other pic is plastic bumper. Not sure if this helps but good luck!
