Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I got an email last week stating my Bronco Badlands (July 2021 order) was scheduled for production the week of April 24th and included a VIN number. In the email, it has a link to track the status and still today it says it is invalid when I enter my order number and the VIN. I talked to my dealership and they still show mine as being unscheduled. They are contacting their rep to investigate and what they told me today, but not finished researching is that there is a glitch in their system regarding my bronco and they are seeing if the VIN number that I was provided with is actually the bronco for my order.

I know people have waited longer, but when you get that email saying it's going to be built, you get so excited so if this isn't actually mine, it's such a bummer.

I have the same problem. Received the scheduling email with VIN but cannot track. Call Ford CS and they show it as Unscheduled. Don't know what's going on. Got my hopes up last week only to be crushed again. Ford CS says that the system may still need to update, but everyday that goes by gets me more concerned.

Unfortunately, I called the bronco support number and they confirmed the same thing so I am not getting my bronco at this time. It sounds like you may have also had the same case as me unfortunately :( it sucks because I got so excited about it and then to find out it's not coming now is upsetting but I will continue to wait I suppose.

I received a scheduling email last week for a week of May 1 production with a vin. I emailed my salesperson and he said he got some same emails as me, and the vin is my bronco.

I called customer service and they said their system might not be updated and to check back in a week or two and contact my dealer as well.
So maybe all is not lost.

The tracking link in the email never worked for me in Chrome on my phone but backdoor always showed me my scheduled date. Someone posted on here to use Edge so I pulled it up on my laptop and voila! So try that but if you have a VIN I would think you're good.

I really REALLY hope that is the case. I mean I know it's been awhile but like, I hope it's soon, especially seeing people getting theirs scheduled who placed an order around the same time as me.

I contacted my dealer yesterday and he reached out to his zone rep to see what's up. Waiting to here back from him. He did pull up my order and sent me the latest DORA and it now has a priority code of 2. He believes that this means its about to go into production, and the system just hasn't updated fully. I really hope this is the case. He normally would have also received the same email as I did regarding the scheduling, but never got it. Just to many weird things going on to ease my concerns.

Hmm I wonder if I should ask my dealer what my priority code is? I know my saleswomen isn't privy on a lot of the scheduling and timing of stuff so she can't provide much updates about that. I do know my order was modified before I got that email but it wasn't to say it was scheduled. My thought process is maybe they over-scheduled and had to correct it. Which would mean I'm pretty high on the list and could be scheduled soon.

Contact the sales manager at your dealership and have them pull up the latest DORA for you and see what the priority code is. Dealers can only assign numbers between 10 -19 so if you are below that it means the plant is moving you along. I've seen some people that were scheduled last week already being bumped out, so I don't know if overscheduling is causing the issue. But hey, anything is possible.

Spoke to my sales guy today and he said he got the same email I did that i was scheduled for production, and if they sent a vin, it is in fact scheduled for production. He also said they'd send an update once it gets closer to production, and those emails usually go out on sundays.

Damn if you got sent a scheduling email but it was a mistake that's probably the lowest it gets even for Ford.

A lot of us have been through this and have had the same experience. If you get a VIN that is huge 👍🏻. It may not populate in any tracker or even Ford Customer service. None of the most current info is in synch at any given moment.

This is the hard part - patience…….extreme patience.

What can you do in the meantime ? Save cash……build up the “down” payment to be just above MSRP including taxes expected. In the end this is the ONLY thing you can control 😎

Is it worth it in the end ? Absolutely 👍🏻

That’s what I would think but I’ve had multiple people search and they’ve all told me the same thing, “I received it in error and the VIN doesn’t exist”. I am just not sure.

Oh we're good on that aspect, I'm all covered :). I would need to sell my car private sale or to my brother but that isn't a big deal. Even if it happens after because it showed up and surprised everyone, I can still cover the down payment. I've been waiting two years for this moment. Also helps I moved to Colorado, sold my house at the height of the market and didn't have to buy a house here since my girlfriend I met her owns a house :)
