Has anyone encountered a horrible rattle coming from the drivers side rear interior panel? I recently went to Moab and although I didn’t do anything extremely difficult some of the trails were pretty rough. Now that I’m back there’s a horrible rattle coming frame that panel. Figured I’d ask before I take it apart. Thanks.

If it’s that loud should be easy to find; pop the panel and look. Maybe a module or loom connector came loose.

IF it’s coming from there. Many times on the Bronco it sounds like one place but ends up being another because of the way sound travels/bounces in the cabin. You could have someone ride in the back seat just to check and make sure.

Have you cleaned all your tailgate seals and used some silicone lubricant like Shin Etsu?

If not, do that first.

Yes. After returning home i washed and detailed the entire bronco including the weatherstripping.

I’ve checked everything and it definitely is coming from this panel. If i tap the panel i get the same sound. I was thinking something attached on the inside is loose or lying against it.

Only one way to find out for sure. Pop that panel off and have a look. There's probably a clip or tie that came loose and lets something bounce around a bit. If so it should be an easy fix.
