What about all those late to the trailhead? I’m a July/21 reservation holder and a recent August order.

I am looking at a 23? 4 door, 2.7, SASQUATCH, bandlands, high package, tow, hardtop, is my build.

You are persona non grata. Ford is wrapped up in their earlier reservation scheme, and you are a second class customer, if that.

I agree, only upside. Plus how constrained will other parts be if they’re pushing all the remaining MIC tops to next year.

Put it in. If it doesn’t get pulled change it back. You have nothing to lose.

I had a 2 dr base Sasquatch’d reservation placed Oct 31 last year. Switched to a 4 door soft top in May got a vin a week later. Modules popped this morning, It’s being built today.

No, that's false. You all have to listen. They said if you have a MIC and no VIN and are not an FE, then 22. Soft tops will continue to be scheduled for 21, and were scheduled yesterday. The FAQs back this up as well, clearly.

That said, I think the OP has a decent chance at a 21....but it depends on the order mix and allocation at his dealer. There is no national line, there is a line at your dealer....and if they don't have many conversions to soft tops amongst their order holders, then his vehicle will get scheduled. When the dealer got in the ballpark of an allocation of about 30% of their orders, and they are sitting at 10% soft tops ordered...even with any allocation reduction, you would be in good shape to get built. If 40% of the order holders switch to soft...then obviously you're screwed.

Not true. They made it clear on the live and the Q&A that if you switch 4dr soft top that there is still a chance of being a MY2021 even if you do not have a VIN yet. They still have 3 months worth of builds to schedule before they supposedly will have the new MIC hard top up and running in November. If all the issues I also believe it will be longer then the quote November time frame before they good a new designed MIC in full speed production.
