Iām kind of the opposite where Iāve not driven a regular Bronco. I will say about my findings of the Braptor, on pavement, surprisingly (even to me) it doesnāt handle like a boat at all. Now, Iām not putting itās handling capabilities up against on-road designed performance AUTOs here, but going apples-to-apples with other trucks and SUVās I drive, I gotta say the thing holds a corner really well, particularly for a vehicle sitting as high up as it is. Then add to that itās nimble throttle response, I find the thing really fun in canyons. The suspension is firm but not rigid and gives a āplantedā feel around corners/through turns with very little body roll/sway. Then hitting accelerator coming out of the last 1/3 of a turn will feel like its on rails, which I find nuts while sitting on 37ā A/Tās at 40~psi.Off-road or on pavement? I haven't driven a Braptor, but the Broncos I've driven on pavement handle like boats. At least compared to vehicles designed to excel on pavement.
Mind you I'm not complaining, the Bronco handles fine on pavement given the off-road design limitations, but I can't image a Braptor would do much better on pavement, especially if the center of gravity is even higher, the vehicle heavier and with even larger tire sidewalls.
On the other hand, I've seen some videos of Braptors at speed off-road, and they do seem taking it to another level compared to regular Broncos.
Off-road is about how you describe, but, ya, on-road I think might surprise you.
