BUT, I have some questions lol.... So, I originally ordered a WT last November, which was still a priority 10 the last time I checked. When the Raptor was first announced and it was said if you had a WT you could change your order. Well, since mine wasn't actually in production, they would not honor that conversion, and I had forgotten about. We started with a Base Soft Top, lifted it 3.5" on 35's (Exactly like my profile pic but in Grey and soft top). Really liked it but came across a the one in my profile pic. Is a BB, with 3.5" lift and hard top. Love it. Only complaint is I am tall, and my wife is short, so memory/power seats would be amazing.... Anyway, I decided to change my WT to a lower model built up a little more than mine but not Sasquatch (as I am super happy with the stance of what I put together and much cheaper) BUT, in the conversation with my salesman, I asked if I could change to a Raptor. Completely expecting no for an answer I was shocked when he said yes! So, I am officially in the books for a Raptor. So to my questions.

1. Anyone have any idea what the wait time will be? As I said, I was priority 10 a few weeks ago. I am not in a hurry, just managing expectations.
2. Can any Bronco order be changed now to a Raptor? Just curious.
3. Just a guess here, but being the fact the Raptor is completely different that the regular Bronco's I would think this would actually speed production up, since the amount of orders are very limited. Is the Raptor built in a different complex?

I did did Black on Black leather with power seats LOL (anyone know if they are memory?)

Thanks all!!

And no you can’t just change to a raptor. Does your dealer have an allocation for one? If so are they going to sell it to you at adm or msrp? Did you get the email from ford confirming the raptor order? Unfortunately it won’t be built faster bc it is on the same assemble line and commodities and allocation come into play here as well.

Biggest constraint will be dealer allocation. See @Zach@Granger ’s post about allocations.

has to do with how many f150 raptors they’ve sold.
Needless to say dealers won’t be getting a lot. Though some will get more than others.

As it is mentioned in previous posts, the biggest question is the dealer's allocation standing. If they have an allocation for a 23, you are good to go! Make sure you have a signed Buyer's Order with you and a manager, not the salesmen, with a definitive price.

Not sure about allocations, I’m paying msrp. And yes I got the order email from Ford saying it was successful

That is awesome and good for you. Glad to see there are still stand up dealers out there.

I don't want to bring bad vibes to your day, but I'd make sure your MSRP Raptor deal is locked up as tight as you can possibly get it. Good luck to you and congrats!

I’ve had two F250 platinums I’ve ordered and took delivery of in last year. Also I’ve prob purchased 10-15 vehicles from them in past 20 years.
There are so many unanswered questions with all this though. It’s crazy

Crazy is an understatement. I just got my order squared away yesterday with all the processes, but I was already a 22 Braptor carryover order, still Ford didnt make it easy unless you knew what you were doing. I went into the dealer with my laptop and a file folder full of just about any info you could need lol.

So where are you in your order? Was it a new order or WT conversion? How long ago did you start the process? And I assume you have a ford email like I received? And I assume the email means you’re legit in order?

yes I got to the dealer yesterday around 1:30. Ford auto generated a new MY23 Braptor order for me and set the priority to 99 until COVP was approved. My MY22 was never scheduled to be built so I technically had two orders sitting in the dealer system under my original reservation number. I initiated the COVP process and while I was there, I got an email order confirmation from Ford on the MY23 order. The COVP process takes a bit so I left the dealer about 3pm after hanging out. The dealer sent me the initial COVP submission received by Ford HQ stating it could take up to 72 hours to approve. My dealer sent me the COVP success approval around 6:30 last night so COVP was done. I confirmed this morning that my new 2023 Brapter order was good to go sitting in priory code 10 which is it can be scheduled.

To your situation, since it sounds like you are getting a new order since your WT order didnt convert, you should have about the same process as I only I dont think you will see anything on your Ford account. Mine is there, but that is because its tied to my orginal reservation.

Thank you for all the great information. I’m checking with my salesman to see if I can log onto the account myself. The only thing that you said that I am unsure of is I thought my WT did convert, it didn’t six months ago but I think it did now but I am unsure of that. I don’t know why they would’ve let me order a raptor without converting?

When you say it can be scheduled, do you mean at any time or after the MY23 order banks close?
