Random Black Marks on Hood

Hey!

I just noticed this weird pattern of black marks on the hood of my bronco. I have a 2024 big bend which I’ve owned for about 10 months now.

I tried washing off with water and a microfiber cloth and nothing came off. The surface is smooth.
I’ve attached a picture. Any idea what it is and how to remove it?

It's from panty hose or garter belts... probably see glitter all around the area too. Maybe a few imprints of low-value dollar bills.

That's way too creepy specific that you and I were thinking the same thing,lol.

Seriously though, if soap and water won’t take it off, next I would try a bit of WD 40. If that doesn’t do anything then maybe try just a bit of buffing compund / scratch remover. I have good luck with Meguliars scratch remover and just a microfiber

that looks like some black plastic danced across the hood. I've had that on a rocker when I dragged the shopvac hose through my wifes car. something will get that off for sure.

Update: got it out. Had to buff it out

I have had to use graffiti remover on some stubborn marks on car paint.

I do not. I’m still perplexed as to what made the marks. While driving the other day I heard a loud thud but I think that was a rock that flew onto my hard top.

that would have made more than marks if it hit my hood.
