Mainly power. I've purchased the dash rail system from AE to mount a GMRS radio. The problem is the High package Wildtrak I have coming does not have a power port of any kind on top of the dash. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that. I'm new to the whole fixed two way radio thing so I have a few dumb questions.

The main concern is that I want the install to appear clean and professional.

First is how the heck do I get power to that radio without have wires running all over?

Second, how does one get the antenna wire out to the exterior without making a new hole?

Third is how and where does one mount the antenna on the exterior?

TIA,
Bob

I'd mount radio low, under dash somewhere, keeps it out of direct sunshine to not heat it up. Wires would be hidden. Antenna wire pass through a rubber plug/grommet on the firewall and either a bracket on the A pillar pod or a lip mount along the edge of the hood.

Where did you get that bracket that comes off the cowl mounted light?
