Does anyone know why my RC ditch light won’t turn off even when I turn off my car? Not to sound lame but I didn’t install them on my own so I have no idea about the wiring. I did disconnect the wiring so the would turn off and not drain the battery. I included a pic of the wiring. Thank you for your help!

You will need to follow the wire to see where it is connected to a power source. If hooked up properly, they should be hooked up to either one of the upfitter switches, or if you don’t have those a separate switch.

if it is a separate switch, maybe someone installed them to a switch that is powered all the time, instead of switch that only has power with the ignition turned on. Either way, you should have a switch somewhere to control them.

Do you have the aux switches? Are they all turned off?

I don’t have aux switches. I followed the wires and found a switch hidden under the dash 🤦‍♀️

Is it a 3 way switch (Off, Light on, backlight on)? Might be if the lights have a backlight.
