Question about carbon fiber package

I’m not into the carbon fiber look and it serves no function in this application, so a hard pass at nearly $2k. Probably the easiest build decision for me.

I'm leaning towards not getting it either. If I really want it, I'm sure it can be had cheaper elsewhere or aftermarket options.

Typically I’m not into carbon fiber, and am not into any aftermarket ‘dress up’ items at all, but am considering it since it’s a factory option and unique to the Raptor.

These will be worth 150-200k when they come out. You’ll want the carbon fiber when it comes to resale.

I have carbon fiber accents on two of my cars, the Raptor isnt getting it for this cost and what you get plus you would be amazed what you can do with 3M and a heat gun.

That is very expensive for very little Carbon Fiber. My Vette the carbon fiber dash was only 900 and I thought that was too expensive. Not ordering it.

I coulda sworn the carbon fiber option on my 19 raptor was like $595..

CF on gen2 raptor was 995

Why not just get the pieces wrapped? Its just look-n-feel and probably way cheaper. Labor might be more than normal (unless you DIY) since parts have to come off in some cases to wrap..but seems more ROI for you.

It'll match my matte carbon helmet if I ever have a need to wear my helmet in the Braptor

I think there are mainly two boats on spending for the Raptor.

It is slightly out of my price range, but this is an amazing chance, so I'll get the base with no add ons. The other camp is, I'm spending 80k+ on a vehicle I'm not going to cut any corners at this point.

I don't see many people getting some upgrades then cutting corners on other to save a buck.

I'm getting the carbon fiber but I will admit it was the one add on I had to think about because the price just didn't seem to line up with what it came with.
