I appreciate your dedication, Bro! I believe that you enjoyed the weekend with your Bronco!
I loved it! Installed mudflaps, replaced headlights, fog lights, hood struts, grab handles, rear cargo mats and several other small mods. As I drive it I keep finding myself thanking God and in a state of disbelief that it is actually mine.

Did you have to drill the body to install hood struts?

So.....I decided to have my dealer place a 2nd order with all my same build specs. Mine has been built since 1/27. No explanation for why it's being held. No Q/A hold or issues that anyone from Ford can confirm - although from another source he said it was but no other details.

To have a built vehicle, go on month 3 of just sitting there....without anyone being able to provide any answers, just doesn't seem right. If it wasn't built yet, I'd be being patient, but the fact that it's built and sitting..... Something just doesn't feel right.

Has anyone else placed a 2nd order? I told my dealer not to cancel my first one, but just keep me posted with everything that's going on. What I don't want to have happen is it be something major that was replaced and I won't want it - so I'd rather already be on a list waiting and if it turns out to be something minor and ships before the second one then great, but if not at least I'll have a backup plan.

I was very hesitant to buy a Ford - we've always been a Toyota and Honda household.... But I just love the Bronco and went against my gut...... so this situation isn't helping me feel any better - and now my husband is sending me 4Runner and Land Cruiser videos 😭😭😭

Still stuck "In Production" from 1/18 (4dr manual hardtop)
Dealer has no response from Ford; this week I got my deposit on that order refunded and they'll send me a note if/when it arrives as a courtesy. I'll keep y'all updated to help the tracking effort.
My partner in crime and I wonder, this the kind of customer experience Ford offers on a $50K+ vehicle, and hanging dealers out to dry since 2021?

That's super frustrating, I'm sorry you're dealing with that... I'd find another dealer and try again.

My dealer did not require any kind of deposit on my order... I was surprised by it and asked specifically if I needed to make a deposit and he said no. When I asked what would happen if I walked when it showed up, he said, "We'll just sell it to someone else."

Maybe my dealer is unique in that but know that there are dealers out there not requiring a deposit.

Deposit isn't an issue, that fulfilled the purchase contract that freezes the price. $500 is standard. Communications is the issue, I could wait for many more months if there were updates 🤗
But I don't want to go on and drag everyone else down, wanted to update the status for tracking.

My dealer did not require a deposit. The dealers that do usually try to get an un-refundable deposit which forces you to wait for the vehicle or lose your deposit. No dealer needs to charge a deposit on a vehicle they can easily sell to anyone.

Mine was built 3 weeks ago and still hasn't shipped. My dealer is 40 miles from the plant. My dealer is small, but still has 20 Broncos in stock of which 12 are 2023's including 2 Raptors. Non of these are HE's though.

I asked for the OASIS report for 3 different vehicles (special order and 2 on the lot). The sales team has been extremely helpful, but didn’t know about OASIS reports. They took initiative by asking for help and the general manager printed it for me from the service dept.

The detailed notes on the past 7 week cycles of holds, repairs, releases, and more holds was in a different program, which the sales team did have access to pull up and view in real time. As real time as it gets, at least. No special Ford representative was needed for that at my dealership. I just had to ask to see it on the screen while I was there. Although the sales team was able to pull it up, it was the GM who was able to decipher most of it.
Thank you for your help, I was able to get a copy of the OASIS report, but I'm not seeing a detailed listing of any issues like you described. All I see is the GCCT Message - "There has been a gcct case for this vehicle in the past 180 days". Doesn't say what it was or if they've worked on it. Did yours have the details listed somewhere else?

To add insult to injury I got my 45 notification email from Ford telling me not to worry they are working on getting me a build date.

The notes on the 7 weeks of holds, repairs, releases, and more holds was in a different communications program, which the sales team and managers had access to at my dealership. The sales team could pull it up and see the notes, but it was the GM that could explain it in more detail. Sorry I don’t remember what the name of that communication program was, but it was the main program where they check the status of your build.
