Would the MIC and the MOD top have the same recall/same glass? We should have guessed it was the hard top, after the chip shortage I think the (MIC) top has been the most common delay/quality problem.

The notice says "hard top quarter glass separation" so it's hard to tell if that would apply to just MIC or just MOD or both. I'm going to try to start tracking what folks have. All HE's have MOD for sure.

For those that aren't familiar (and I wasn't clear), here is the difference between MIC and MOD hardtop. We aren't sure if the note from @Broncaroo applies to both or only to one or the other.

I’m seeing people on FB saying the back panels are popping off. This one is from today:

Interesting update. My order tracker link is now dead, but i just received an email from Ford indicating they have now confirmed my order. Hopefully this is the 1 step backward, 2 steps forward email others have experienced.🤞

MOD Top for the HE

I will piggy back onto what other people have already said. I’m in the HE thread where a few people have had issues with the removable back glasses pieces separating. Something about bad adhesives. If this is a true recall than I’m sure that’s why mine and any Mod top/HE are delayed. I know the guys that had this issue got replacement pieces pretty quickly at their dealerships.

I'm in that group too because mine is a 4DR HE. It's quite possible this has been part of the focus for the "inspection campaign" and they've identified enough with the issue that it had to be dealt with. Still waiting on my dealer to confirm if this is becoming an official recall.
