In the factory process there are several big steps. First your order gets scheduled into the factory, then all your parts are gathered together, Blend is what Ford calls "putting all those things together on your car." The blend date is when that's supposed to happen, it's on your window sticker. What is blend field?
So not seeing any updates on the blend field is bad news? I certainly haven’t seen anything new since my 1/18 blend. :/In the factory process there are several big steps. So got your VIN and window sticker (the "blend field" is the area on your sticker that shows the date it's supposed to happen), then stop seeing any updates at your blend date, something has gone wrong and Ford isn't telling anyone what. So people here are now guessing parts shortage holding up QA with missing pieces, I guess.
Someone experienced can give a better explanation! That's just how I understand it.
@HB-Bronco is correct @NeptuneOBX, Once the Blend date is established it won't change on your window sticker. Nothing to be alarmed about there. @HB-Bronco, Your comment that "This week i seem to have gone backwards" is a good thing. In previous build week threads this often happens when the Bronco has been shipped. For some reason it takes the tracker time to update in some cases and in other cases it does not. Based on what I've read, you have probably been loaded on a rail car at this point or are on a ramp to do so and it just hasn't left yet.Neptune
I don't think the blend date changes after it has been established. The next step for me was seeing MODs populate, then a Tear Tag #; that is the last 'update' I have in this experience. I had my window sticker on 1-10, with 1-17 Blend Date on sticker, 1-21 Mods were popping, and 1-24 I had a tear tag #. Last week i checked my window sticker and it had not changed from the first time i downloaded it.
This week i seem to have gone backwards, as since Tuesday the direct link to the window sticker indicates it 'hasn't been released, please check back later'. Not sure if this is one of those passive aggressive ways Ford is telling me my build is progressing, or if this is more of a "we got tired of you refreshing the page every 10 minutes' kick in the
Someone please chime in if you disagree, but OP's table doesn't seem to point to any specific option or component that might be a shortage or QA problem.
Wow thanks for that great info, I work for a Latitude AI a subsidiarity of Ford and they wouldn't even give me information of what's going on at the plant. I needed to know something so I would go crazy.I found out today that there is an "Inspection Campaign" going on at Ford. It sounds like it is related to early production months of the year and wanting to make sure what is being produced is of high quality. It is supposed to be done by the end of March, but they are hoping to be done sooner. The delays we are seeing for "Produced" vehicles that have not moved to "Built" status is because they are in line to be "verified" before proceeding. It looks like some vehicles are pulled for this inspection and others are not.
Hang in there everyone. I have no idea what order Ford is working in to "inspect and verify" these Bronco's, but either way we are close and the good news is this is not parts related. I at least feel better knowing something.
Not going to get into how I found out because I don't want anyone getting in trouble for helping me, but let's just say the Lord gave me favor...Wow thanks for that great info, I work for a Latitude AI a subsidiarity of Ford and they wouldn't even give me information of what's going on at the plant. It seems to be a completely random order. Wondering if the parts shortage rumor has any play in this.I found out today that there is an "Inspection Campaign" going on at Ford. If this inspection process is true, I'm more than happy to wait ✋️I found out today that there is an "Inspection Campaign" going on at Ford. well, now you have me hopeful that any little thing is corrected and mine will be a top notch, tightly tuned release.Wow thanks for that great info, I work for a Latitude AI a subsidiarity of Ford and they wouldn't even give me information of what's going on at the plant.
