Problem with reservation system?

Reserved a Badlands SAS LUX 4 door soft top on 8-4. Order was “placed” on 8-9-21. However, my order never showed up on my Ford account and my dealer kept saying they had no confirmation from Ford. After pressing them on it, they called Ford today who said their is a software issue preventing the conversion to orders. Anyone else hear this?
I was being told I was being impatient and I told them “no it’s not that, it’s that I don’t have an order confirmation and if I don’t have that- I have nothing.” So I’ve missed a week on the books- not that it’ll matter that much on such a late order. Had I not pressed them- who knows if my order ever gets confirmed!

Thats a reservation, not an order. Orders only happen through a dealer. Place your order at the dealer when the order banks open Mid-september. Thats likely what they mesn by "impatient", there's no ordering right now.

Also, there will be new options for the 2022 model year you can consider before finalizing your order.

But without an order- I’ll be waiting forever!

Steve, don't worry about what the dealer is saying. It sounds to me like he doesn't know his ass from his elbow, and doesn't know what's going on himself. There is no need to order now as the '22 order banks will open in mid September, and an order now would mean nothing as it will go away when the '22 orders start. When they open in Sept. you can then sit down, and order your Bronco.

For example, I ordered mine on March 3, '21. When the '22 order banks open my dealer will contact all of his customers to re-order for the '22 model year.

They place orders in alphabetical state order. North Carolina orders get placed by September. Hang in there!

That makes sense, must be frustrating and confusing. I'm not surprised, because right now, Ford itself is having supply issues and there's much uncertainty. My OBX was built July 22, but now its awaiting a new MIC roof, once they get the new roof process started . . . Maybe I'll receive the car by Thanksgiving, I won't get a date until mid-late September.
