@HBTFD I purchased the capable plate bracket a while back. Is there a way to secure the top of the license plate to the bracket? When I take it through the car wash, my plate gets caught and bends forward. I thought of using a license plate frame, but there really isn't a way to keep the top attached to the bracket.

On a side note, I used 3m auto tape on the top, between the bracket and bumper. Makes it A LOT more solid...virtually eliminates the chance of it falling off somehow. Imo. I then used strip caulk to fill that top gap. I also used stainless steel security bolts.

Finally got around to posting this review. This is a great replacement for the original tag bracket. Nicely made. I did modify it a little. I drilled and added two upper screws for better security for my vanity plate. And I also swapped out the nuts for self locking ones . It’s been on for over 600 miles and it’s still hanging in there and solidly mounted. Thanks Walt!
