I can next week. The prototypes are different colors and thicknesses, not a good representation.

I know some people are sick of the front license plate stuff, but it really is an area that Ford screwed up. Happy to see all the things people are coming up with.

Good spot to destroy your plate off-roading...
I'll not be putting my personalized plate down there.
Can't make people happy just like in every other thread. They show the factory mount using the pre drilled holes and people hate it. Come up with a different solution, people hate it. If the plate location is really that important, I'd move to a state not requiring a front plate. Wait.... I already did that. :)

There actually aren't any predrilled holes... At least with the modular bumper.
Im definitely requesting that my dealer doesn't mount my front plate!

I'm keeping my front plate in the glove box, with a pic of a mounted front license plate handy on my phone. If I get pulled over, hopefully...........

My shop can make something up, but I want to avoid drilling into plastic until I know for sure there isn't a better option. There are 4 bolts holding the front air dam in place, so maybe on the OBX bumper, someone will figure out something to attach there

I should know the answer to my question but obviously I don't. Not a tool guy!

What tool, what size do I need to remove the modular bumper Bronco bolts? And does the tool come with the vehicle or do I need to go out and buy it?

Thanks!

A T40 torx bit and something to turn it - cordless drill with a bit holder, ratchet with a bit holder, etc

A good option for those that have to run a front plate.

BTW, all of you that don't like it do not have to buy it, so theres no need for criticism. The OP came up with something to help with what many were crying about. Jeeze......
Yeah, but the reason people might not buy it is because it won't work, which we are free to comment about. 🙂

I like this placement better than Fords. I think I would revise it to have a piano hinge where this bracket is bent. That way it can be flipped up and out of the way while off road

The placement is not optimal for off-roading. The best place to mount it is exactly where the radar box looks thru.

No choice in CA. My plan is to run with no plate until I get pulled over but want to have the bracket on hand when that happens.
That’s my plan. Still have a $125 fine though.

But two screws and it is removed, right?

Yes. There are 3 bolts attaching to J nuts on the bumper. The 2 bolts attaching the tag will need to be removed to access the 3 bumper bolts.
