@skierx728 My advice: if you don't like some of the figures the dealer provides you, or if you're wary of them for some other reason, maybe take a day and hold off on converting. It looks like a massive PITA to change dealers once a reservation has been converted (per this thread). You still have some time to convert your reservation and can shop around to other dealers. Something I wish I would have spent more time doing before converting.

You should also log into your Ford.com account and double check that the dealer hasn’t done anything fishy with your reservation (like convert it to an order anyway or cancel it).
Definitely make sure they aren't doing anything more shady. If they contact you just tell them you are thinking about it still and need another day or two. Then, call the 800 Number and move on. :)

Update: I just got back from the dealer. It did NOT go well. :(
The guy I spoke with did not seem to know much at all. I clearly knew waaaaay more than he did just from these forums, using the build/price tool, etc.

I walked him through what I wanted step by step (with him taking notes on paper going to finance guy and coming back a few times ) and he came back with the MSRP (roughly the same as what I already knew of course) and then "+5000 AMV". I asked what that was (Adjusted Market Value) and he just basically said it is what it is. He wouldn't break that down any further as to what it included or anything (and sounded like there was another $500 doc fee on top of that when I pressed him further etc.). Basically he just said that MSRP+5k is what they're asking for across the board.

I said I definitely would not pay 5k above MSRP and he wouldn't budge. He asked if I wanted to keep the reservation or cancel it and I said I want to keep it and would try to find a better deal. I'm in Massachusetts, anyone else in the Northeast have similar situation? Is it just me or does that sound like a terrible deal?

Very disappointed but I guess i'll see what happens, at least i got a mug and a T shirt  out of the deal.
If I want to try another dealership do I just reach out to them with my reservation # with my build and see what they can do?

******
On a side note I test drove the badlands sport they had on the lot just to check it out (before all the discussion above). It was okay but just made me want to test drive the full size that much more.
I know that everyone on here says that they negotiated pricing months ago and have dealerships giving them amazing deals. While I'm sure that is accurate for them, it isn't going to be the reality for many of us. I've talked to half a dozen dealerships over the last few months and most of them knew very little about the process but planned to charge MSRP. Ford's communication to most dealerships about the process has been lacking, so you probably couldn't have gotten much information from your local dealership anyway. Don't let people make you feel stupid because you didn't lock in pricing a long time ago. I think most dealerships are going to sell them for MSRP.

Also, (and I may be wrong on this) but shifting your reservation to a dealership that is doing a below MSRP deal MAY delay when you get your Bronco. The people that know about those deals are a lot of the enthusiasts that reserved early. Those dealers are going to over-index on early reservations relative to the average dealership and could put you lower on the list relative to their allocation. Again, I could be wrong, but I like my chances of getting a MY21 with my day two reservation at a dealership that is bringing in normal, non-forum reading traffic versus a place that has a lot of people from here that knew about the special pricing and reserved before me. Then again, I went to public school so I'm not that bright...

All that said, don't pay over MSRP...

wow. like everyone said before. You should have found out pricing weeks ago. If they want to sell you it at MSPR or MSRP+dealer markup tell them you'll think about it and start shopping around. You don't have to have your order submitted until March if your looking at getting a 2021. Don't feel pressured that you have to deal with them; your able to switch dealers regardless of what they say. They just want your $ and will tell you anything.
