Position in reservation changing due to editing build?

I originally placed my preorder on 7/14/20 as a Big Bend 2 door. I finally went to the dealership on 2/2/21 to finalize my build and I ended up going with a Badlands 4 door. What i'm trying to figure out is if I go to the dealership to edit it again, does my reservation number, and/or position in line to get my bronco built change?

Nope.

Your position is dictated by the timestamp of your reservation.

Change your order as many times as you want until your VIN is assigned and your build is scheduled... or until your dealer stops taking your calls.

Nope.

Assuming a person converted reservation to an order by March 19th, Ford will provide an estimated delivery window in May.

Beyond that, your position to get built is based on your dealer and the other customers there. The dealer would be able to tell you where you place in relation to their other reservation holders, or their estimated MY21/22 cutoff... but theres so many variables at play it’s almost useless to try to glean anything additional from that info.

Reservation numbers are *generally* in numerical order... but they aren’t linear in a way that we could use or determine anything from.
