You can't push a snow plow without a V8, SFA, and leaf springs - just ask all the old timers.

Riding mower + snowblower attachment. A little better at curves, less likely to damage the house if you miss.

I'd always heard you want at least a 3/4-ton for any appreciable amount of snowplowery.

When I've needed a plow, I've always bought a used one along with a vehicle, Plum wore out rusted out plow trucks are a dime a dozen, and I only use them to plow mine and my neighbors driveways, so no inspection, plates or insurance needed.

Yeah I wasn't planning on starting a business, just plowing my very smooth driveway. Sticking with the neighbor for now.

While a Bronco in any flavour is not necessarily an ideal plow vehicle, it still seems somewhat plausible.

This year, I bought a small plow for clearing only my driveway (~300ft) with my Sierra 1500, V8, 4x4 (without the plow prep package, which would include upgraded springs and alternator).

The plow weighs about 265 lb, has manual angle adjustment, and is lifted by a 3,000 lb winch. The model I chose has a vehicle specific mount. There are mounts for Wrangler JL, and other midsize vehicles. Obviously Bronco is not yet available, but alternatively, there are models available that mount to a 2" receiver, though they cause the plow to mount further in front of the vehicle.

I bought the plow to clear only my driveway. I never intend to leave the property with the plow mounted. Thus, I don't expect excessive wear on front suspension components. Any vehicle that is capable of off road use should be able to cool its engine and transmission when subject to some load at low speeds. Climbing a steep hill off road is in ways comparable to pushing some snow, from the engine / drivetrain perspective.

I've only used my plow three times so far, including a light 5", and a heavy 2-3". I don't claim to be an expert, but I thought I'd share my initial impressions none the less, so I made a YouTube video. Don't worry, my channel is not monitized, so it makes no difference to me if you watch, like, subscribe, or share.

Yeah this would pretty much be my exact scenario. Only difference is my driveway was put in this year and is blacktop. So nice and smooth.

Took my neighbor in his Jeep 10 minutes to clear it. One nice thing is that the snow can just be pushed off the bottom of it.

Thanks for posting!

I have this for my JKU and it works with no power as long as you don't need/want to pull snow back.

The plow is real low so it shouldn't block airflow.

I am sure the seasoned plow experts will vomit all over this product, but I'm thinking about getting one to leave at mom's house. My snow removal needs are one driveway, maybe 40 yards long, 3-4 times per year. Don't need to go crazy.

If you just want a plow for your driveway, do you have a riding mower? Either get a blade for the mower or better yet, get a blower attachment for it. Or buy a riding mower used and go from there. Why buy a whole plow assembly plus the wear and tear on the vehicle, for the driveway? Just another possible option for you.

Or, since you're getting a Bronco, and Squatched, no less, just drive over it (maybe a couple times) while shouting "we don't need no stinking plows!" It'll keep unwanted guests away too. Or use that tank in your signature, either way, the CR-V should be able to make it out after that. ;)

I have a Fisher HD for my f350 v10. I’d recommend against the plow if its just your driveway unless its 1/4 mile or more. The aggravation of connecting and disconnecting and changing the oil every year is a hassle.

plus the chances of ripping up grass and hitting something

isay getyourself a decent Toro snowblower. It will give you clean lines, no piles in front of your garage, and no layer of ice to melt.
