Please help…Check engine light on during accessory mode

I recently had my check engine light on … got a message in app to take it to dealer. Dealer said no concern present at this time. P0073 in PCM AAT circuit high… PPT BB1Y - pass KOEO AND KOER SELF TEST….

no clue what any of that means. Light is off during reg drive mode but check engine light comes on if I have it parked in accessory mode. I only have several months of warranty remaining (going to purchase extended or trade it in for 24)…. Want to figure it out sooner than later tho if something is about to go wrong.

Anyone have any insight for this??

It stays on in my F150 as well as my Bronco when in accessory mode. It is just saying the engine is not running.

I think this happens in ALL cars.

I know all of my current ones do the same and as many of my former cars as I can remember did as well.

An illuminated check engine light on while in accessory mode is normal operation. All vehicles do it. It's just proving out.

It's one of the smog checks here in CA - to make sure you didn't just yank the lightbulb.
