Hi all, long time lurker first time poster.

Wondering if someone who has already taken delivery can snap a picture of the rearview mirror (front and back) along with the clearance above it and the windshield/frame.

Planning out a dashcam mirror and don't want to start purchasing items blind.

Thanks!

You may want to specify the build you are interested in. I expect the mirror and camera configuration above the mirror is different for different models.

Chris to the rescue… Again!

Thanks for sharing these. Looks like some good options for my dash camera too. Some vehicles it’s a pain in the butt to find the right spot.

The mirror moves up and down pretty significantly, so these measurements can vary.

Ah, the memories of the "6 inches above the dash" thread.

Those were the only pictures I've had to go off of until now 🤣, and they don't even show the tip, I mean top.

Thanks so much man! @Mattbar1 is right I should have specified High/Lux as the instrument cluster most likely isn't there on Base/Med packages.

So this is perfect!!! Thanks!!!

Actually, I had to submit a full-body scan before delivery to set the rearview mirror to my exact height. Nobody else did this?

They only asked me for my signature in blood and first born as a sacrifice 🤷‍♂️

😲 Here's something I just noticed looking a bit closer at these photos, there's wires running into the OEM mirror.

Do you know what functions these provide, (compass, anti-glate, etc?.?).

Ultimately I'm trilled as there is already a conduit sleeve so it'll be super easy to hide and run my mirror dashcam wires in a great fashion up and over to a pillar 💪🥳🤪

On the Mid package and up I think there is an auto dimming mirror. And maybe the auto dim sensor for the high beams?

Pretty amazing how many sensors they are packing in that area of the vehicle. Excellent use of space, then matrix for direct sunlight mitigation.

It was Ford who was the first to mount the rearview mirror directly to the window glass (3rd gen T-birds), and since then it's been a long trip to where we are now!
