I was having a weird metal on metal on metal noise at slow speeds. At first we thought it was the skid plates or the coil over reservoirs but the noise persisted.
After getting the Bronco on a lift we found the front passenger axles has play making that noise. It seems the play in at the end in the Diff.

My guess Ford will deny a claim with my mods. About 3000K on the Bronco.

Do I just open the diff and upgrade or let Ford take a look?

Were you able to replicate the same noise with it on the lift? How much play? Depends on your dealer, they could cover the repair as long as it wasn't due to one of the modifications that were made.

So this is what was found. I guess this is common with IFS Trucks. I guess Toyotas get it on the drivers side after a lift.

Iam being told there is no real risk in running ot like this? More of an annoying thing. Not sure if any aftermarket upgrade for this.
