I will say, my 22 drives great even on 37's. No constant sawing the wheel or funny shimmy's when I wasn't smooth with the Detroit's. The billion & one sensors is what scares me about the 6G though
ive never had the pleasure of driving an old one, but I would imagine it rides like an old bronco. My 22 sas drives like a dream. I did drive a lifted badlands on 37’s I didnt like the ride as much as stock sas. No doubt on the tech though, that’s why I went with 7 year bumper 2 bumper.

They are a blast to drive, but when the steering box gets tired it can be a handful to keep it in a straight line. The rocking horse effect was not as bad as my CJ-5 on bad roads though. A lot of rattles with the hard top & tire carrier

going doors and roof off for the first time tomorrow, can't wait.
Best part is you can pull into a tight parking space and still have no trouble getting out. I know there are some on here who would never pull their bronco into a tight parking space, but if you do, no doors is the way to go.

Stop by Lowe’s to grab some stuff. When I came out the store some dude was sitting there taking photos of my car. When I came up a little closer I noticed that he had a 70 bronco park next to mine. Had to get a little chat with the guy. He was really interested in the new bronco. I was really interested in his old bronco. I guess it shows you the grass is always greener.

Having owned a 69 half cab, 75 ,76 and 78 I love those first 3 mentioned first Gen Broncos, but the grass is greener on your side, I like your 6th generation Bronco

My brother in law had a pre 1970 around 1980. I thought it was too skittish and did not hold road well.

Same here on the sensors. My 1970 had 37" Boggers and a Detroit in the back. Absolutely terrible.

My 73 has Detroit lockers ft/RR - yes it can be a handful, but I will never sell it. EBs are the coolest vehicles ever IMO and I could never replace it.

Having said that, I'm really looking forward to my 2D when it arrives...

I would have tried to work out an even trade. My new Bronco for his old Bronco!
