The wheels look great, I might have this done to my OBX whenever I get it.

I don't scoop her til tomorrow but my dealer blessed me with these photos ... 🤩

It's getting the 1 inch level right now in time for my pickup tomorrow. Those tires are 275/70s. Same 18 inch rim, just powder coated black.

I'm completing the look by swapping out the obx sticker for the classic Bronco script. And I'm swapping the silver pony for a glossy black one

Hope this helps!
Those wheels look great. Well done.

I hope you were not going for a one of a kind cause I’m stealing this and running when my wife gets her OBX! Looks great and that is a great price. Did they trade and credit your original tire price to end up at that?

Haha I knew my modifications would only be unique for a short period of time
Yes they credited the tires at the financing table. I didn't get any deal out of them though. On ebay the obx stock tires are going for around $55 per tire used. Dealer gave me 25 per tire.

Not the best I could have done. But shamelessly I was super excited to hit the road with her

$1400 all in!
  • Tire mounting and balancing
  • Speedometer adjustment for larger tires
  • Wheel powder coating
  • 1 inch level/lift
That doesn't include the cost of the tires, does it?

Also, this looks fantastic. Definitely steeling your tire and wheel modifications (when I get my Bronco).

alas, it does not include the tires. Those cost me 300 a pop!

Got it, and that's what I thought. Still, a great price. And within my OBX upgrade budget!

This looks incredible. I'm going with the 275/70's on my stock rim as well after seeing many similar posts. The OBX stock setup gets a plenty of hate for the tire/rim combo and I think Ford could have done better by offering the BD Aluminum wheel as an option for the OBX. The all black just looks great with the carb gray.

I thought it would’ve been a little more credit but I’m like you, happy to have it. I bought a 2015 Tacoma trd and drove it about 80 miles back home. Decided the Dunlop tires on it were awful and went to my local tire store the next day and got some Michelin ltx at. They gave me $115 ea (retail was about $180) for the Dunlops towards the new ones. Had about 100 miles on them at the time. I believe the Duelers are about $225 retail. Seems like they could have given at least $100 on zero miles? But again I’m sitting here with no truck and would gladly take $25 to have it.

Thanks all. Means a lot that this community approves of my mods, considering the many many beautiful Broncos out there!

I know. I could have done much better. All good. I did get invoice pricing for my Bronco so I was feeling a little giving, ha

Hey that does look great! I’ve recently joined the forum and am trying to figure out my way around. I’ve been debating sas vs non for my outer banks and have researched non stop about tire options, gearing, C vs E rating, etc etc… but am curious about something. Why did you not get the SAS package? I know this is cheaper and I am truly debating doing something similar… but seems your all in mod is close to 3 grand. For an extra 1200 the SAS comes with upgraded suspension, stronger front axle, front and rear lockers, rims and tires to boot which seems like a great price overall… I am just having a hard time shelling it out.
