I was browsing the Ford Accessories and came across this:

Overland Stand Alone Changing Room/Shower
Part No: VNB3Z99000C38C
$319.00 or redeem up to 63800 Points
Ford Store Link

I tried to find this direct from the manufacturer and found this:
OVS Wild Land Portable Privacy Room with Shower, Retractable Floor and Amenity Pouches and More – Quick Set Up
Was: $179.99, Now: $125.99
OVS Link

I checked the installation manuals on both sites and they have identical pictures and instructions. The only difference I could find is that the OVS document references the "Full Kit: 26019910" in the header of each page.

So through Ford I would pay 2.5 times the price. Seems silly to me.

Am I missing something obvious?
Does anyone have this accessory?
Pros/Cons?

sounds like its the 'ford/bronco tax'. Had the same issue looking at a roof rack for our sport - ford wanted a crazy amount for the yakima/ford branded rack. got the exact same thing from rei for about half the price and then 20% off on sale.

called yakima and asked what the differences were.. "uh the other one says ford on it too"

assuming you're running into the same thing here as well

Pfft, so you guys aren’t changing/showering in the wide open natural environment?!

… Ya, me neither. Mall security looks at you weird when you do that in their parking lot I hear.
