Can someone who’s better at this than me go get the Christmas Story meme about 37’s and add it to this thread?

37’s? Yes Hoss 3.0.

OBX with SAS and a few other options (mod bumper, aux switches) is a wildtrak for all intent and purposes, except for a wildtrak sticker. And you get side steps, color matched mirrors and handles, and IMO nicer interior options. I switched my WT order to an OBX to get the roast interior and those other options and the price came within $100 of each other.

HOSS 3.0 is the other decision if your WT order is a 2023, but you don’t sound like you need that at all.

I think the biggest difference is the HOSS 3.0 on the WT. You also didn't say whether the OBX is the 2.3 or 2.7? Since the WT you ordered has the Lux package you are getting things like adaptive cruise control (which I love) and a heated steering wheel (hopefully) so it's not just aesthetics.

It comes down to what do your really want? I've learned with cars don't settle because you will never be happy in the long.
Outerbanks has the 2.7 like the Wildtrak. I didn't even have a back up camera on my jeep so the high package on the outerbanks is more than I could ask for but I have heard a lot of good things about the adaptive cruise control especially for those who do a lot of highway driving.

I think you’ll need the HOSS 3.0 with steering rack and tie rods if you’ll be putting 37s on it and taking off-road. I just don’t see how you can turn that down with the mids you’re putting on it. HOSS 3.0 will be better on the road too with the better dampers. I would be in a WildTrak right now except for the roast interior, my wife insisted on it. OBX roast is the best looking interior you can get in the bronco IMHO.
I agree, the Roast is awesome and I like it more than the sandstone in the Wildtrak. I think at this point it is coming down to whether the lux package is worth the wait. Also still deciding on color. Area51 is great and even better in person but if I got the Wildtrak I would go black on the color and wrap it in satin black. The theme would be that matte finish with gloss black accents on wheels, grille, and interior areas that are not being wrapped. The other thought is that with the money I am saving between the outerbanks I got and Wildtrak I have ordered I can go buy some king or Icon coilovers which would definitely trump the Hoss 3.0 shocks.

It is good to hear from guys who made the switch to an OBX from a WT and are happy with it. I feel like at this point that is the direction I am leaning. I also have ADV 5" flares sitting in my garage and I don't know if I can wait until the WT comes in to install them!
