I purchased the original trail sight lights when they first came out approx a year and a half ago. I just removed them as the passenger side would only work with turn signal and nothing else. I don’t plan on purchasing the new lights as the price is too high and the amount of work to install isn’t simple. I also can’t live with the reliability. I have several Mabett lights and am now worried about their life.

Are they mabett lights? Maybe check with them to see if they'll warranty the item. I'm leary on all the imported lights, no matter which, to last longer than the importer remains in business. Nothing is really replaceable anymore just pitch and replace.

Yes these are the Mabett lights. I’m done even if they do replace or warranty it’s simply not worth the work to reinstall just to have an issue in another year. Their wiring and connections are difficult and don’t last.
