Gents, I’ve been a long time lurker but finally ready to pull the trigger. The JL is about to go into a Lemon bin where it belongs and in hindsight I should have gotten a Braptor from the get go but all the covid craze got in the way.
I want shadow black but the idea is to throw stealth (clear matte) PPF on it. I would like to have it be all cohesive in terms of color and from what im able to see online shadow black roof is $1250 but there is no way to get the fenders or mirrors unless you opt in for “shadow black appearance package“, is this correct?
That package is 9K, where you get the roof, fenders, mirrors, CF interior pack and forged wheels. Wheels as individual option are 2K along with Roof is 1.3, CF pack 1.7 - so this means they are asking nearly 4K for painted fenders and mirror caps?? That’s absolute rape. I dont care about the forged wheels as im going aftermarket anyway so this shadow appearance package is really screwing up the MSRP for me. I really dont want to paint the fenders solo especially as the removal is PITA and I would need to wait a month for the paint to gas out before PPF is applied.
In terms of discounts, can anyone share their recent experience and how much were they able to know off the MSRP? Not sure what the invoice price on this vehicle is but i would presume 6-8% from the MSRP?
