Anyone know if it’s possible to order say a Badlands and get it without the “Badlands” badge on the fender?

I suspect the badge is simply applied with automotive-grade dual-side adhesive foam tape. Just use fishing line behind the badge to "saw" through the tape after you take delivery, clean the adhesive residue off the paint, and save the badge for "resale value".
Will be easy to remove yourself.

I know I can remove it, I’ve done it a handful of times.

How about also being able to request a black bronco badge on the back door, they look awesome!
I've seen the pictures of some that have them and some that don't and I'm not sure the reason.

I know the Wildtrak has the Black Bronco.
Doubt it.
If you can it will likely be an upcharge.
Just peel that dumb thing off when you take delivery.
