Hello bronco nation,

I am looking to place an order for a badlands in socal in the next week or so. Pretty much fully optioned with exception of sas. My dealer is saying if I place an order in the next week they might be able to get it to me by the end of the year. That seems very optimistic, so I’m curious what you all have to say about what’s happening elsewhere.

I talked to another dealer who told me 8 months. Which was more in line with what I imagined.

options I’m looking at
- 6cyl
Softop
High/lux
Tow hitch
Raptor running boards
Leather seats package

Let me know what you all think. Are they blowing smoke or is it realistic?

It's actually reasonably realistic as long as your dealer has allocations.

But we're quickly nearing the end of the 2024 model year so you'll want to get your order in ASAP. The 2025 model year announcement is expected in the next few weeks, and usually Ford will close the order banks for the existing model year shortly before or right after announcing the new model year. The 2024 Bronco Sport order banks, for example, close this week. (I think it's actually tomorrow.)

If you don't get your order in on-time then you'll have to wait and place a 2025 order, and if that happens you likely won't receive it until early spring next year.

I know OEM rock rails and running boards are all over marketplace for $50-100, and with all the aftermarket options, I wouldn't rush to purchase the Raptor style one's. As to the timeline, Granger in Iowa is legendary here for their straight shooting and epic deals, as well as handling out of state business. You may want to give them a call and ask.

That’s pretty far for me to order from. I guess I can reach out. It do they deliver to other states or do I need to go out there?

You don't need to go out there. You can have it shipped for around $1500 anywhere in the US. Not sure if Granger will work with you on that or if you need to arrange it entirely on your own. Also some smaller dealers want you to show up in person to sign the paperwork. Coats nothing other than few minutes of your time to call them.

Presuming they still have 2024 allocation, it should be no problem.

We are in So Cal also.
My son ordered his Badlands, 2.7, Sas with beadlock, hitch, black top, and leather on July 12th. Went into production on Monday, Aug 5. Was originally scheduled Aug 12th.

Go for it.

Read over that link, plenty of out of state orders, myself included. Delivery is up to you but I got mine delivered for a $1 a mile from a separate company.

@Doc TOC all Broncos are 50 State compliant.

As for signing anything in person, they'll overnight anything that needs a physical signature, the rest is all digital.

I'd say your best option is to shop lots currently, with dealers offering below MSRP and inventory piling up on lots, you can likely snag your build below MSRP-may require some traveling.
