Order number email?

Just got an order number email from Ford yesterday even though I ordered around March 15th. Has this happened to anyone else or did something get screwed up between my dealer and Ford? I'm just a little panicked now

Someone else got a second one recently, but that only makes 2 so far.

I think it’s not unlikely it’s just a hiccup in the system (adding the free headliner and a new email was sent, for instance), but if you’re worried you can always check in with your dealer.

(do I remember a check box for emailing the customer in WBDO? Could orders be getting updated and the dealer doesn’t select the correct option on that, triggering a new email?)

Since panic posting I did some more digging. On Ford website it says my order date is 3-10. Got my preview order sheet from dealer on 3-15. So idk when my order was actually placed and am inclined to think this confirmation email was a hiccup of some kind.

People have had all of the place outcomes with Fords email notifications. I received my order confirmation 15 minutes after I left the dealership. I so either it was a server/email bug, or your dealer waited way too late to put the order in.

Edit: Based on your second post, it looks like just a hiccup!
