Anybody have any info of the possibility of optioning up just the tires? I have a 4 door Big Bend reserved but the included tire doesn't look meaty enough. I had the BFG AT KO on a K5 I used to have and would like to have a set of 33s like in the higher trimmed model Badlands I think it was. Any chance of this from factory? I did see the Sport had tire upgrade on some models.

I hope so too. I’ve never needed lockers in my area. There’s a rumor of a High Lift package that is just bead lock wheels, 35s, and different coil overs. I hope it’s true.
And it’s also possible that you can fit 33s without a lift.
We have to wait until the build sheet is out to confirm.

I’m also hoping for just the 2” lift and some bigger tires from factory. I’ve got a Big Bend reserved, while I am sure I will like it as is, it definitely won’t hurt to go bigger! Depending on pricing of course.

Well the Badlands has the option of a/t or mud tires. So it is a possibility that other models might have a tire option of some sort. I'd like to see 33" as an option. And hopefully we can run an 11" width without rubbing and worrying about changing offset. Don't really need or want 35".

The Badlands has its own suspension with the upgraded coil overs. That’s how it fits 33s....... I think.

I have a feeling that you know about fitting bigger tires from the way you described it.
So, I’m guessing you also know that once you get 33s you want 35s. And once you get 35s you want 37s. Come on, you know the drill. ?

What I want and what I know I need is best for me are two different things. 25 years ago you are absolutely right. At this point in my life the fun vs practicality ratio has shifted quite a bit. I'm good with that.

A Jeep with no lift can fit 33 with no issue so I don't see why Bronco wouldn't be able to. If that "high lift package" is actually a thing I might look into it. This is a wifes daily driver and it would essentially be just for aesthetics. If I can upgrade to BFG tires for a few hundred I would do it without thought.

The outter banks option list has 16 17 18" wheels in steel , machined alu , painted f/r lockers .. at least 32 tire build sort of partial Sasquatch kit non lifted ?

Good catch...we took the wife's truck in for service today and walked down the street to look at Jeeps. We saw the exact tire and size that will be put on Big Bend as well as the BFG AT tire in the size I want to put on. She is on board the tire upgrade 100% lol. They make the same vehicle look completely different lol.

Isn't something like this cheaper in the aftermarket than factory?

Depends on how Ford chooses to price it if available. The real cost would be the difference in the cost of the 2 tire sizes plus a bit of profit on the side. Better to save the time of running down and paying to have new rubber installed and then going through the gyrations of disposing of the old meat. I am also looking into larger rubber, will be nice to see the build options.

Well we might have a week to 3 weeks to wait until we find out.

And oh how many new threads of "I'm mad" will we get to see, then!
