At 150K, I still think that transforms to less than 75K orders.

I had Zero intention of reserving two until the infamous website fiasco... and if I thought of it as a way to protect myself so did most of the other people. And because of the continued poor way in which its being handled, most of us are still hanging onto those two.

You combine that with how much time still has to pass before we order and how life changes, needs change. Budgets become the driving factor.

Just so many things that will drive that number down from the 150K.

Don't get me wrong, I still think 150K is super impressive for something no one really knew much about before 7/13. I personally, saw the reveal and my doubt was erased.

Kudos to Ford and especially the team that worked on the Bronco. I still just wish that corporate would dedicate some serious resources to tightening up their act from here on out.

Plus the lower number gives more hope to people who reserved late, and those who haven't reserved at all. I am honestly happy for them. No one wants to wait for calendar year 2022 to get their Bronco.

Hands on (can get in your vehicle) — Probably no amount (within reason). You could have 100 people or more a day getting in and out

Roped off — would depend greatly on time of year. Winter - I’d probably go pretty cheap - particularly if I liked my dealer (which I’m probably not doing this if I don’t like the dealer). $500 say. Good weather months way tougher - maybe $1,000.

What are others sell out price?

Go read the dealer threads. The dealers on this forum don’t think they can get away with it but maybe you’re right and they are lying to us. We will see at launch.

Don’t know if this has been previously mentioned but according to VP of Comm at FoMoCo Mark Truby, they are working on increasing production ( One could assume future capacity)

We really don't know their counting methodology. It's would be a mistake to blindly assume that they haven't done any additional math beyond simply counting the number of $100 reservations they've collected. We know that they are following the public discourse around the launch of this pivotal product. They know that there are people with two or more reservations and they know that most of those folks don't actually plan to buy two.

I'm not saying with any certainty that they are making adjustments to the raw numbers. I'm just saying that we don't know because they haven't told us.

They should have made the reservation fee non-refundable. Weed out the window shoppers and impulse buyers. That's what Tesla did on their upcoming model releases. Plus they get to use that fee as capital to invest in the build.
