I`m happy to report back that the "Unobtainium" triangle head screw is indeed obtainable from VOLVO of all places.
Part number 8698547, at any VOLVO dealer. I had to order mine but had it within a week.

I received it today, and it is identical to the original screw from FORD.

Thank you @j_marinelli for pointing me in this direction.
I realize I'm replying to an old thread but I'm doing it for other's benefit in the future. The tools and bolts are the same because Thule designed the rack for both companies, as well as other OEM racks.

I just came here to say a huge THANK YOU to all you guys that contributed here . I picked up this oem roof rack that was dirt cheap from Facebook marketplace locally . The guy took my money, claimed it “ was all there “ lol and dashed back into his house to leave me literally disassembling the whole thing in the street in front of his house so I could get it home .
so then I find it’s missing the rear triangular head screws ( and of course needed the tool )
And also needed the 4 hollow bolts to attach it in the front . WEEKS later .. after ordering from Volvo, EBAY , and Ford I now have it installed. So thank you for this thread - and know that everyone working as a community is a super valuable resource that I very much appreciate !
