New Black Diamond, looking to add a Bimini top. Considering the Ford OEM model, the Jtopusa model, or others.

What does the OEM lack that aftermarket options do better?

Thanks!

The ford bestop Bimini is not great imo. It’s cumbersome to install, flaps like crazy at hwy speeds, and doesn’t sit as tight as others. Can’t think of the new one I bought for wife’s bronco last year, but it’s 10 times better. Doesn’t flap, looks good, and is installed using bungee straps once mounting hardware is on. It’s been talked about a lot, but can’t find the name of it on Google search for some reason. It does leave a slight gap at the front, that can get blinding depending on time of day. The jtop one looks really nice as well. Read lots of positive reviews on it. Would have def bought that one if I’d known about when purchasing the other one. Don’t waste your money on the bestop Bimini.
