Not taking my Black Diamond

I’m not taking my 2023 Black Diamond from my dealer…I feel really bad about it but life has a way of changing our minds.This would have been my second Bronco from this dealer. My first one I sold back to the dealer after my wife passed away. I had to get down to one car note so I keep her truck and sold the Bronco. The Bronco I’m telling you about today was orders for my wife in late 2021 with a hope of a 2022 delivery…That didn’t happen and I had to trade her old truck in November of 2022 due to mechanical issues..Now Im setting here with a 2023 Toyota Tacoma upside down if I trade…I would love to take the Bronco but just can’t pull the trigger with what my notes would be..It’s a 2023 Black Diamond 2 dr with sas, 2.3 liter, eruptions green, base interior packed , 10speed auto..The dealer is poor mouthing it’s not going to sale due to it being a 2 dr…The sticker is 50,900 and some change…If you are interested it’s at New South Ford Meridian, Ms…Hubert was my salesman….Also I’m not trying to advertise for them nor do I work just feel bad that I can’t make the deal work with my situation. Also when I say poor mouthing I’m not saying this is a bad dealer…I’ve bought a lot of vehicles from them and they are great to deal with during and after the sale..They have a great service department too…FYI if anyone is looking for a new Black Diamond….

Sorry to hear about all that. It may be difficult, but I would not worry about the dealer selling it; they're not worried about not being able to sell it, they're worried about not being able to flip it immediately. There's just more people that want four doors.

If it's the salesman saying this, it's just bemoaning they're losing a sale. I would say dem's the breaks selling cars for a manufacturer that can't meet basic demand in a timely fashion. Let 'em gripe away, try not to take it personally. Especially if they lot it with $5-10k in markup, those are crocodile tears.

I am certain that 2 Door auto will sell quickly. 2 doors are so rare.

First off sorry to hear about your wife. Sorry for your loss. I cant think of 1 2dr Ive seen on a lot new or used for sale that wasnt an order. They will sell that quick. Especially with that package. Dont feel bad.

Given used Tacoma residual values, I suspect you could probably get a lot more than you expect on a private party sale.

2.3 with the Automatic is the only thing odd about the build. Most folks with a 2.3 want the stick, and most folks with the auto want the bigger engine. Nevertheless, it will sell pretty quickly.
