Welp, my test drive is scheduled for the 27th. Let's see if that makes any difference in what I'm doing next.

That indicates that they will be scheduling this week for production the first week of September. Of course, this time last week they were set to schedule last week for the entire month of September and then cancelled scheduling. This means a couple of thousand people may get vins this Thursday…

I think this would mean they are behind in scheduling. They seem to try to fill the builds 45-60 days ahead and if they are working on the end of the month, they are inside 30.

Whew. Thanks for the info. Appreciate it. So that 8/30 week is for building and not for scheduling then.

I'm guessing with the number of previously scheduled 8/16 and 8/23 builds that just received notification about being moved to 8/30, there won't be a lot of new VINs for that week.

Been plenty wrong along the way, and it's also very possible a lot of those moved to 8/30 will get bumped further, but there are a lot of existing VINs to get scheduled...

No doubt. I'm wondering if we're going to start seeing more frequent scheduling for smaller periods. Like weekly or two weeks at a time until they get commodities more squared away.

Maybe they should actually build the ones they've been putting off for months instead of scheduling new ones....that's a thought

I think the first week this, second week that, and then cleanup the rest of the month might be off the table. Like you suggest, it may go week to week for 30 days out until the MY is done.

Then again, they might have to have most of it done by mid Sept for the MY22 orders. Can someone have a 21 and 22 order in the system at the same time?

Best guess is FE scheduling to fill in the gaps not filled by the ones already shifted to the 8/30 week.

I don't even know what that means. They're building Broncos right now. They're going to build more Broncos. They aren't going to build as many as any of us want, but this year isn't a "wash."

Agreed. 2500 a week is damn respectable.
