So I’m planning on ordering a Bronco 2-door hardtop and would like some advice. After reading 74 pages on the challenges many have had getting car orders in; and with the delivery time and price as agreed what would you do differently if you were starting this process in now in Jan ‘22. Your help appreciated.

Hey!
First, if I were to order today I'd search my state and several states around me for one in stock that was what I wanted (or close). I've read some people have found them and received a good deal.
If that failed I'd find a reputable dealer in my area, go in and order what I wanted ensuring I got price confirmation in writing and signed by the dealer.
Then, I'd plan to wait 12 months. If I got it sooner then great :)

Interview reps at multiple dealers. Get a signed agreement from them. Make them sign it. I have heard of people Ordering 2 broncos. One from 2 different dealers just in case one bronco delays of one dealers screws you. Don’t ever put money down. Unless it’s just $100. The dealer will make money on your vehicle if you take it or not.

Order two vehicles… (1) a moar door with a soft top that can be delivered more quickly, and (2) a 2-door (with hard top) for your dream build.

Then drive the moar door until the dream build is scheduled, and plan to sell/trade-in the moar doar when the dream build is delivered.

/s/ Bronco owner, speaking from personal experience.
