One of the updates a while back was an update specifically to improve the updates. That seemed to have potential to spiral out of control into a feedback echo chamber loop where an update would be required to repair the failed update to the update that failed for the update on the update coding and so on and so forth.
I wonder if this one is related in part to the infotainment system recall shenanigans for screen black outs and back up camera fails.

Still driving around in a 2022 Badlands.
Sure would be nice if I didn’t need to plug and unplug the phone 3 or 4 times to get carplay going. (Wired because wireless has never worked)
When that doesn’t work, need to reset the Bronco audio. Usually once or twice a day.
when it does connect, need to toggle to another app and then back to navigation to get full screen. It’s always in full screen mode but starts with a split screen.
Sync sucked in my f150 but this sucks on a new suckier level of suck.
and why must every update change all audio settings back to factory?
not one update in 4 years has fixed a thing.
and the recent climate update made it so I need to use max A/C all of the time.
I love driving my bronco but Ford has no idea what they’re doing when it comes to audio, climate control, removable roof or tech in general

I hope not!
I did notice my rolling rocks were gone when starting it up and this update then came on. Just the horse.

Here is a question. I have a Sport and a Maverick. Only the Bronco gets updates. Neither of the other 2 mention updates in the app or the car. What makes the Bronco so special?

Have to do multiple resets every time Ford Does an update.Latest issue lost all my presets on steering wheel audio radio selections.Have all my update settings current on my touchscreen but went to Dealer 7/1/2026 for front seat bolt issue + they told me all my OTA updates didn't do Jack but show completed on my screen.Everytime it goes to Dealer have to spend time to get settings back to what they were.WTF?
