This is my first off-road vehicle and i am overly excited to start the upgrades and accessories (i have a bunch waiting in the garage).

I ordered the sasquatch package which comes with the beadlock rims.

If i wanted to get the beadlock powder coated, can i still drive without the outer bead on the rims and be fine and then re-install them when they dry from getting powder coated?

or would it be best to not drive and wait for it to be ready?

The ring that comes in the wheels is just a beauty ring, or rash ring. Doesn't really have a function other than looks. If you wanted to go full headlock, you have to purchase a different set of rings and change how the tire is mounted on the wheels.
So yes. You can take the rings off at any time in stock form and have them powder coated.

perfect thanks.

I want to get them powder coated to match the color of the vehicle. I saw someone do it with a different color and thought it was an amazing idea and my friends shop just started doing powder coating so figured i'd let him do mine lol

Paint match beadlocks look great IMO.
With the rings off, be cautious as all the threaded holes will be exposed and could get dirt/debris inside. So stick to street driving and blow the holes out before reinstalling.

Let me know! I'm a couple hours from the dunes. My Bronco is being built tomorrow, I hope, so I will be ready to rip some sand anytime!!
