Hey all. Picked up a 'new to me' 2021 Bronco Badlands a few weeks ago. This deal sort of fell in my lap and I used this forum the night before purchase for a lot of research and ammo for questions the next day with the salesman, so I want to thank everyone for all the detail in the posts. I've been a part of a forum community for each of my trucks and am excited to be a part of this one as well as hope to be at least a decent contributor.
Summarized story on how I ended up with this:
Traded my 2014 Raptor in for an F250 last year so my wife and I could get a camping trailer. After almost 2 years, realized we weren't going out as often as we'd like and that it'll have to be a retirement activity down the road.
Decided to sell the trailer on a Tuesday, woke up that Friday and realized I probably don't need a vehicle that tows 15k lbs when I don't have a trailer anymore
I've been following the Bronco release since it was nothing more than a rumor so I figured I'd search around and see if any dealerships had one so I could at least check it out in person. Found a bone-stock Outerbanks at a place close by and scheduled an appt.
Walked in later that night and saw this Badlands and instantly fell for it. 16k miles, Badlands 2.7l. PPF, metal front bumper and swapped spare tire holder. Checked it all out, came home and read a bunch of posts on things people have seen go wrong and went back in on Saturday afternoon to check on them and didn't see any major issues and picked it up. (after a different dealer bought my F250 for more than I paid for, which was nice).
I've already got a few questions to ask and some stuff to sell so I'm looking forward to digging in some more in the coming weeks. (I really need to take it out and get some much better pictures also)
