I ordered and installed the MF Flow FX Axle Back on my 2.3L this weekend. I'll be removing it this week. It sounds great on start up, but any gas pedal and it sounds like my 93 Honda Accord 4cycl I had with cat back exhaust. And way too loud for me. Almost obnoxious.

That’s a little concerning for me because that model is listed as “aggressive-moderate” sound level and I ordered the Outlaw listed as “aggressive.”

I guess it won’t be hard to revert back to stock and it only costs $130.

$130 is for the outlaw high clearance axle back because there is not much to it. Just a small pipe muffler delete.

Awesome! Definitely waiting to hear the exhaust on the 2.3. If you guys follow through, they might be the first videos on record of a 2.3 exhaust upgrade lol

After much review, listening to sounds over and over of all dual exhaust systems, I’m gonna wait for the release of Borla’s internal designed setup. The Ford Performance by Borla sounds better than FM (IMHO) and I suspect the next release will be even better. I have Borla on 2 other cars and it is truly amazing sounding, even on a 4cyl.

But is it that much better than these to justify triple the price?

You gotta hear it first. If anything like my Borla in my JCW Mini Cooper running 300hp, it will sound better than FM.
