Yesterday I picked up my 2025 Badlands, Sasquatch, Hoss 3.0. Bought it in Salt Lake City as the deals were better than I could find here in CO. Buying in UT meant a 500 mile trip back home but in a new Bronco that wasn't too bad LOL. Traded in my 2019 JLU Rubicon with the 3.6 pentastar so the torque difference was incredible climbing mountain grades, at elevation, and at Freeway speeds.

I have been lurking here a few weeks learning. Just wanted to say Hey.

Welcome! I bought a couple of months ago and I can't stop smiling every time I drive it. Enjoy!

Congrats! Just picked my new Bronco up yesterday as well. And I definitely love this V6 compared to the wheezing gasbag I had in my Gladiator!

I will say I did like the 8 speed ZF transmission in my old JLUR. Before that I had the Mercedes 5 speed in a JK and it was not enough gears for the Pentastar. I'm very impressed the Bronco can climb grades without downshifting 3 or 4 times like the Jeep.

The bronco is much quieter than the Jeeps but I did have the one touch sky roof on the JLUR. People told me the Jeep was quieter but not my experience so far. Maybe a 2025 Bronco thing.

Nice rig, love the color! I agree the 2.7 has so much torque- it easily climbed the grades in Blueridge mountains in Ga when we vacationed there 2 years ago. I was really impressed. And still got reasonable fuel economy around 22 MPG on 87 octane fuel. Our cabin was on a dirt road steep grade hill on a mountain- 4 X 4 access only. Was so fun going up and down the grade, the Bronco ate it up like it was nothing.

Nice looking rig.

I've been through Fairplay a dozen or so times over the years.
Nice area.

I was in Breck in February & had to head through Fairplay to get back to Denver....that was an interesting trip over Hoosier pass. On the Breck side, a few morons stuck in the middle of the road, Bronco went right by in 4h, pulling a small trailer.
Coming down your side, a sprinter van was teetering on the edge & I almost joined him.
Going 3mph, traffic stopped in front of me & I touched the brakes & just started sliding towards the edge.

idk how you guys do that on the regular. I was white knuckling for sure that night.

I've seen plenty of people go over the side on Hoosier. Chevy pickups with the G80 rear end (locks after you start spinning without intervention). The main trick I use is 1) no lockers, 2) go when tourists are at a minimum, 3) wait out heavy snows until the plows get out.

Even us locals have white knuckle moments and it gets shutdown a lot in the winter so if you can wait, then wait.

There are a lot of off road opportunities where I live...Red cone, Saint Johns, Radical Hill, Weber, Georgia, Mosquito, Wheeler, on and on. I done many of them in Jeeps and ATVs.

For the longest time, every 3 cars on the road around here were 2 Subaru's and 1 Jeep. I'm seeing a lot more Bronco now. One of the Dudes of Mountain Rescue was in an Orange Raptor Bronco. I saw him and a Jeep fueling up early one morning in Breck.

I was leaving Breck after a day of skiing & starting the 40+ hour drive towards home.
It wasn't terribly snowy, the roads were just slick.
I think 70 was closed for an accident or maybe an avalanche?

But yeah, I was just trying to give myself a buffer & when everyone in front of me stopped, the first touch of the brake pedal had me sliding.
A Jeep right behind me got rear ended about 30 seconds later.
We made it to Fairplay, fueled up & took 285 to Denver.
It wasn't terrible, just tried to be smooth & not in a hurry.

I think all told we left Breck at like 5:30 & didn't pass through Denver until like 11?
We were in Ogallala around 12:30 am.

Love the area. I like staying in Breck & using it as base to go explore multiple areas.

I don't think I'm satisfied with a dealership, advertisement photo of this "new Bronco", probably generated by AI. I want to see the real thing! I wanna see the sun and @ssIs6 at a real dealership after 9-hours of negotiating, new sale gong mallet in hand, with his real Bronc drapped in a bright red ribbon, real lobby popcorn bag in his hand, shiny new tires, real bad-breath sales person photo bombing the epic milestone pic, etc....I call nay sir! Nay I say.

We at B6G deserve better... we deserve a real picture! How dare you! Shame...
