I run the roof rack, so no light bar.Simple solution.... Remove the caps, install a light bar. Then head to the wilderness and enjoy!!!

I’ve heard stories about people losing the painted caps. I have mine off and on regularly as I don’t always run my roof rack. So after pulling the roof rack today, I made a “Safety Line” this way I can at least not lose the caps.

I think this is very rare. All I do is highway driving at 75mph. Still got my caps.Howdy, I live in Wyoming and my Bronco is slated to arrive by November. I’ve seen other broncos with the caps missing in my area. I probably won’t ever install roof rails due to how high the roof is to pull gear off rack and wind noise. 60mph winds is common in Wyoming sometimes more.
So with that said what’s my best option on having the caps stay down? Gorilla Glue?
Double sided tape?
