Nevada trail guide recs

My daughter is moving to Vegas next year, so I will be making a few trips to NV soon. Really want to explore the ION area, but really anywhere that is well off the beaten path.

Are there any good books or guides for trails in NV? I don't mind a trial and error approach, but like a good starting point.
