Stopped by my dealer yesterday to place my order, but even with no cars on the lot I had to make an appointment for later this week. That’s ok though, because it gives me time to investigate something the finance manager (formerly my sales guy) told me. He said the hardtop on the 2DR was still a constraint, so I should consider the soft top. I am fine with a soft top, and see them in the build and price tool. But I have a few questions—are soft tops really available? If so, who is making them? I have a Bestop soft top on my 05 LJ and it has held up well.
Here’s my projected build: manual Badlands, Eruption Green (who came up with that name?), Lux (I couldn’t understand adaptive cruise until I got my Tremor and now I love it, I know it is not the same with manual but I want for highway not stop and go), upgraded wheels, non squatch.
Any thoughts appreciated. This is mostly for local driving, logging roads, and snow and maybe an occasional trip to someplace like Moab.
