Happy with what I'm getting, my only complaint with the badlands is I'd like to have the silver dash that one of the other trims have, too lazy to look now. And of course a roof rack, but that's easily remedied.

Yes, my struggle is with the interiors. If I move forward with a bronco, as is likely, I wish to do a custom interior with leather/plaid or leather/houndstooth seats and some kind of open-pore wood veneer on the dash and doors. I like what some of the resto-mod folks are doing with old Defenders and the Rivian interior looks pretty sweet. So to spend money on Navy Pier and then toss it seems silly. I can make do with the smaller screen and add my own cameras, I suppose.

As to the Mach 1? I've always had a mustang, so they are sacred. It wouldn't replace a bronco, it would just delay it a couple of years.

You're throwing out some big money examples (at least for me). If the retro look is what you're going for why not wait for the heritage edition? Not sure what interior will be like see pic below, doubt they'll go that deep but maybe.

Perfect Bronco for me (wishful thinking): 2 door, 2.7, Manual, Squatch, the release Cactus Gray green color, BD interior, WT exterior, BL offroad stuff, Lux, BL optional wheels

What I'm Getting: 4 door WT, 2.7, Auto, Carb Gray, Lux (and I'm still gonna be happy as all get out with it)

I am pretty satisfied. Wildtrak 4 door with LUX, keypad, steps, floor liners, leather, storage bag, tow capacity and the bimini are all I would want. Yes, in a perfect world I would have an all-black leather interior however . . . but that is truly the only change I would make.

Long Wheel Base 2 door with 37” tires and 400HP. Sounds like a Warthog dream. I could overlook colors and interior fabrics for this. Load it up with all the bells and whistles!

My perfect bronco doesn't have giant flares that remind me of jeep, has a front bench seat, 2 doors and has a magic cargo area that is 2' longer than the overall dimension allows.

So really, I'm not asking for much, why won't ford give us a magic trunk?
