Sounds like if Dealers are reaping the discounts and not passing to customer that some consumer watchdogs locally (BBB, news media) etc should be put into play/notice given to Dealership GM and/or ownership and if some help isn’t forthcoming after these discussions each customer can decide if they should hire legal representation.

This is on the verge of fraud ( material mis-representation of facts) or at least appears to be. Un-just benefit by Dealer at customers loss is total BS ….

I m done now. Good Luck to everyone running into this issue.

I should have $2000 for the mid year price increase as shown in column B of the table: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/the-ultimate-2022my-price-protection-flowchart.46571/ which is PGM#38446 I believe.
There is no program number for mid-year price increases. And this has nothing to do with Broncos, Ford's policy is the same for all Ford or Lincoln products.

No, my order price did go up. My order price went up 2975 for the dealer from 2021 to 2022. It shows this in the system, as if I ordered freshly in 2022. My understanding is that after Ford verifies that I bought it they adjust the MSRP in DORA by the 2k in my case and then that 2k goes somewhere magical.
Unless you have a time machine, your order price did not go up. Invoice and Sticker went up. Your order price is the price on the day you ordered it.

That's what the dealer was suppose to charge you. Minus your SmartVincent certificate.

Ford isn't sending you a check. Ford re-invoiced your dealer months ago. It's all electronic billing between FoMoCo and the dealership.

Your dealership screwed you over for $2000. At this point, if your dealership won't remit the $2k, I'd talk with your state Attorney General about deceptive business practices.

Edit to add: Not being a smart-ass about talking to your State AG. Our AG in AZ just hit a couple of the Nissan Dealerships with $500k in fines over deceptive practices, and the IL one hit a big chain dealership up for around $10mil in fines.

Alright, so I just got to the dealer today after putting it off over the holiday. I've found that the best way to communicate is in person and not via email or over the phone. I talked directly to the General Sales Manager about this. My dealer is a small to mid-sized dealer. The GSM hears my issue and is trying to find the 2k, he thinks I should get the 2k. He was unfamiliar with rebates being done like this (a post-purchase rebate), as he said all the rebates they do always have come off in SMART Vincent, including financing offers and everything at the time of the purchase. This 30-60 day Ford verifying that you followed the rules thing is the source of the problem. My GSM was most familiar with this on their Super Dutys, for price protection or rate locks. He says no other Bronco purchases had this issue, so either the reservation holders all backed out, or they were disqualified, or they did not fight or know to look for price protection. He was not familiar with DORA (which I believe stands for dealer order receipt acknowledgment), so they may call it something different internally or something else.

The GSM called their dealer rep from Ford and spoke about this, they were also unfamiliar with any second rebate or price adjustment. This rep deals with ~120 other Ford dealers, so either other dealers are figuring it out and not having a problem, or people aren't fighting for their money, or they are just not involved. The Dealer rep from Ford is referring us to a "Sales Inventory Specialist", which is a new position to handle more customer-facing problems like this that is employed by Ford. The GSM thinks that if Ford were to rebate this second round of price protection, that Ford would send a check to the dealer, with both my name and the dealer's name, so both the dealer and I would have to sign it to get the funds. This makes the most financial sense, as this is how a rebate should be done. I hope that this is what happens, but I will keep on the line with my dealer, and may even call marketing or the Bronco team again for the fun of it.

I'm glad my GSM is on my side, as I wasn't confident in my salesperson working on this.

Once again @Ford Motor Company How is this second round (and third round for some) money supposed to reach the customer? Why was there not a clear published way for the dealers and the purchasers to get this money? Why are Ford employees telling purchasers different answers?

I may have some answers tomorrow, we will see.

Just updating this thread. I have the GSM(dealer general sales manager) working on it and they have confirmed with ford and all of their contacts that I am owed the 2k. It took him a long time to find ANYONE at ford that knew anything about how price protection is supposed to be carried out. My GSM has been great and he has called and emailed many of his contacts to work on this. I am in Maryland and it sounds like regionally, the reps he contacted did not know what to do. Has anyone in the Maryland/East Coast area successfully done this? Not sure why this is so difficult. My GSM is keeping me updated on developments. I am extremely disappointed in @Ford Motor Company in the handling of price protection.

Wow that took longer than it should have, and I'm glad I received it at all. I just got my price protection check from MY DEALER. All of what I know is second-hand and hearsay, through my dealer, so I am not sure if it is true or not.

Anyways, it ended up that Ford screwed up and did not issue me price protection automatically, which delayed things. My going to the dealer and the dealer calling Ford prompted them to investigate my eligibility and that is when it was confirmed that I was entitled to the 2k PP that I had not yet received. Through a long and convoluted process, Ford finally issued my Dealer the PP. As stated by others, this was delivered to my Dealer through a line item on a parts invoice or something of that matter. It was linked to me only by my order number. The fun thing is my Dealer is a franchise and they in-house never received this, their corporate office did and they "didn't know what it was" it didn't say price protection in the line item or my name. ultimately I had to message the dealer a few more times, asking for updates, and I went in person and they cut me a check. I cashed it the same day and it went through.

I am happy that I got the money. It sounds like in addition to the normal bureaucracy there is a significant turnover of employees in my region, so people are new and don't have knowledge. Not sure how much of this was the Dealer playing games or if it was actually all on Ford. The truth lies somewhere in the middle, and I will not spend any more effort trying to find out now that the money is in my pocket.
