No, Ford gave price protection based on rebates available if the MSRP went up from the order date (2021 MY to 2022.5 so far), the dealer can still charge whatever they want over or under MSRP.

Well your right, I have seen people win. In my case I'm 67 and just don't want to put forth the effort to fight. The new owner just loss me a customer for however long I would have been doing business with him.

It's not much effort to make them keep their word. Seriously. Contact Ford or Levine via Twitter.

You locked your reservation to that location based on a promise of pricing. That promise has now been broken. Had they not misrepresented the price, you could have chosen an honest dealer and have your Bronco now.

Ford made stated that they will stand behind their customers, and are legally allowed to, in situations that involve illegal conduct or simply the tarnishing of their brand.

You guys know about those Javelin antitank missiles J.B. gave to the Ukrainians? Can Bronco reservation buyers get some of those to use on last minute ADM’d Broncos?

Joking aside, Ford should require as part of reserving a vehicle a signed sales agreement with sales pricing up front binding to reservation number even if dealership is sold. At, least something to that degree.

Sorry to hear what happened. I would at least try and contact Ford to see if they could try and help. Side note, I am about your age and when I was a kid, my family bought a Ford Ranch Wagon from Zumwalt Ford in St Helena, shame on the new owner for changing the name, it will always be Zumwalt to me. Sort of like when Taylor’s Refresher got bought out and they changed the name. Anyway, good luck sir!

Aw man, that's terrible, I sure do feel for you. Putting in your reservation and waiting all this time and they jack the price up 21K. Totally not fair that someone else with a lot of extra cash to give to a greedy dealership and get your Bronco.

I have a Bronco Sport Badlands and have another one on order with my local dealership. I was there yesterday and they have a Badlands 2dr that the guy isn’t picking up. They called me this morning and offered it to my at 9k over msrp. They aren’t budging. And I told them I’d just order a ‘23 when the orders open because I’m not in a hurry. I have a Badlands Sport and my wife is getting her Badlands Sport in June. We can wait. They said that’s fine but they will tax me $2995 on any orders moving forward. Lol.On to the the next.

Omg...so sorry you are having to face this dilemma!

Any documentation given or sent to you? Does your back door link show that section that has the Dealer Selling Price? If they were going to charge an ADM, one would think they would have inputted it there.
Maybe verbiage on their website about charges for custom orders? (False advertising)

Another issue is they’re appraising for way more than sticker. Mine was appraised for 9k over msrp by the bank.

As we’ve seen with others, you have to go scorched earth on them. If you don’t have twitter, make one. A burner account even. Lay out your story, tweet at Levine, Ford, individual consumer advocacy reporters, the bigger the fuss the better, just blast them. Same thing on here, put out their name and go to town. They do this stuff because no one puts them on blast, but you gotta come with some force.
